I enrolled in the Church’s Financial Freedom classes and became even more equipped with the spiritual knowledge base I needed in handling my finances. During the segment of the course that dealt with credit card debt, I was compelled to share my testimony, and show the collection of one hundred credit cards that I had accumulated. I had meticulously mounted each one on a bulletin board.

I shared with my classmates that what they were seeing represented a half million dollars of credit card debt. The presentation of that board brought an eye opening and mouth dropping expressions from nearly everyone present. After the gasps and expressions of disbelief eased up, then a barrage of questions would come. Why so many credit cards? What did you buy? I explained to them in a storytelling fashion the unbelievable spending habits that I practiced for over fifteen years.
